Powerpoint

Lately we have been doing assignments with Powerpoint. This program helps us make slideshow presentations. I found this really helpful because I use Powerpoint all the time for my other classes. I will really benefit from these lessons on Powerpoint because many of my other classes expect us to make presentations on Powerpoint quite often. In fact, I have to do a Powerpoint presentation for one of my summer assignment this year. I also see my mother use this program very often for her job, so I'm assuming that knowing how to use this program will be very beneficial in many careers.  I've used Powerpoint before, but I never knew all of the features on the program until now. In the future, my Powerpoint presentations will look but more professional and impressive.

Excel

So far we have learned about word and excel. I've already done a blog post on Microsoft Word so  this one is going to be on Microsoft Excel. I have found it very useful and frankly I find it easier to use than Word. Excel is used a lot for charts and visual representations of data, while Word is used mostly for essays and stories, and etc. This is a very helpful software for everyone from students to business professionals.

Class so far...

So far all we have done in this class is work Microsoft Word and Excel. It's a pretty long class (four hours long) so we do a lot in one class. We've done charts, graphs, and tables. We have done more but that's the majority of it. We've taken an exam and a quiz. Hopefully this class gets more interesting in the near future.

My First Day

Today I started a course for dual enrollment called Intro to Microcomputer Usage. We did some assignments in our textbook and learned some computer terms.
